University of Illinois System

Contacts & Resources

**The 2022-23 RNUA process begins September 19, 2022. As in previous years, all Academic Professionals should use the online system START myDisclosures to report activities.

If you have questions not answered in the Frequently Asked Questions or need other assistance, you can find additional resources and contact information for the conflict of interest officer on your campus here.

Guidelines Regarding START myDisclosures and UIC Research COI

System office employees who are located on the UIC campus but do not have a UIC appointment will complete the START myDisclosures RNUA process as in previous years. System office employees who also have a UIC appointment, regardless of percentage, will need to complete both an RNUA in START myDisclosures as well as a Disclosure Profile in UIC Research COI (the new UIC reporting system). System office employees who are investigators on a sponsored program at UIC will be required to complete an RNUA in START myDisclosures and will also need to complete a Disclosure Profile in UIC Research COI when prompted. Please contact Sarah Zehr with any questions.
