1. What will happen with ARM and SailPoint access requests?
The original goal of ARM is to provide a single place for USCs to request Enterprise Access,
with AITS responsible for granting that access. That goal hasn't changed.
As we explore how SailPoint fits into the overall IAM strategy, our aim is to enhance and streamline the user
experience. We're still working through the exact details, but the end goal is not to create multiple
systems or duplicate work. Ideally, SailPoint will work behind the scenes to improve automation, compliance,
and access controls, while ARM remains the central access request point for users.
2. Will SailPoint impact the ARM timeline?
We are still evaluating the full scope of how SailPoint will integrate with ARM, so it's early
to determine the exact impact on the ARM timeline.
Our priority is to ensure that both the ARM implementation and the integration of SailPoint are aligned to
support the user experience. As we gain more clarity, we will provide updates and adjust plans as needed.
